Stand Out From The Crowd

If you’re in an online business and all you do is sell, sell, sell, you are going to repel your audience and see little to no results. That’s what everybody else does. You’re not everybody else. You’re going to rise above the noise on social media and stand out from the crowd.

The Key Points to Influence are to become a problem solver, not a seller.

1.    You’ve got to know your audience, and we do this by creating your perfect avatar. Who were you up until today when you started reading this blog? What problem is going on in your life that you’re looking to solve? What are you afraid of? What are you passionate about? What do you love? What sets your soul on fire? Write these answers down, because your avatar is you. And from now on, every post you make is specifically to her. You’re speaking to her problems, issues, passions, and fears.

2.    When you have clarified who your avatar/target audience is, you clarify the problem you solve so that you can clearly communicate it in your content.

3.    Now you have quality content to post every day because you are sharing your story, your journey, and you’re speaking to the person you can help. Find a need and fill it, and you will become wealthy beyond measure.

Your service, program, products and/or opportunity solve problems, educate, and add value on how you help people! So these are the things you post about. Hello relatability, and people starting to look to you as the expert in your field. They are getting to know you, they are following you because they love your content, and they trust you because you’re showing up every day consistently. Now they are ready to buy from you. Hello influence!

Lead With Your Brand Mission

That’s why you always want to lead with your brand mission to attract and influence your target audience. For example, if the problem you solve is helping people to better their lifestyle and you’ve decided that your dream client or team member is an ambitious mom who wants more from life, your mission could be:

I’m on a mission to help 100 ambitious moms to create a lifestyle beyond their wildest dreams.

Then decide what your brand core pillars are going to be, as these will help you with your quality content and help add value within your posts.

Example of your brand core pillars could be: Empowerment –Transformation – Business – Wealth

From now on, you’ll lead all of your content with these 4 pillars, so that your content flows and is always making sense to your avatar. And you’ll never run out of great stuff to post about!

And remember, we are serving, not selling.

What this will do for you:

You’ll have quality content that comes from your heart and soul and adds value.

Never run out of ideas about what to post as you have more to lead with.

Relatability with your audience.

Which will skyrocket your following, credibility & engagement. And your confidence!

And absolutely 10x your sales and/or team building.

So just to reiterate, can you see why it’s critical to take your focus OFF of selling, and focus more on serving? Do you want to be hustling and grinding, chasing people down with the hard sell, or have quality contacts showing up in your inbox every day as if by magic, asking how they can work with you?

If the answer is the latter, then add more value, add more value, add more value.

Visibility has been the buzzword in my circles over the last week or two, so today I wanted to share with you my top 3 tips on why it’s so important to show up consistently every day in your business, and a few of my top strategies on how to do so.

1. Whether you’re looking to start or scale your business, networking is a big component. The larger your circle, your following, your influence, the faster your business will grow. Get around people who are more successful than you, who will pull you forward, who you can collaborate with. You could start by joining a local women’s entrepreneurial group where you can learn and grow together, building relationships that will eventually turn into friends, clients, and referrals. Join Facebook Groups that are within your niche, you’ll meet the most amazing women! Not by spamming your products and services, but just by introducing yourself, interacting, and adding value. If you build rapport with someone, then you can take it to a conversation in DM and ultimately a networking phone call where you can learn what each other do and find ways to collaborate. From using these techniques this week alone, I’ve booked in countless calls, had a strategy session with the incredible mindfulness and mindset coach Jen Robinson (you’ve got to know about her, and can check her out at https://peacefullivingwellness.com/!) who has given me so many incredible ideas, as well as the opportunity to be a regular guest writer on her blog! I’ve also been offered another blogging opportunity, and three invitations to speak on a podcast. You never know where someone might come across you and your mission! Opportunities abound! But only if you’re putting yourself out there. If you hide behind your computer all day working on SEO and back office stuff, it’s going to be a long journey. Success loves speed, so use these tips to get yourself out there and build your business fast!

2. Get a DMO and work it diligently! Your Daily Method of Operation should be locked in to your calendar, so you know where and how to be showing up every day across all your platforms. And even if the idea makes you want to go back to bed and throw the covers over your head, you’ve gotta hit that LIVE button and just do it. At least once a week. Going live boosts your engagement, and it’s also a great way to take your audience behind the scenes and along for the ride on your journey. Even if you”re just starting your business today, share your fear, share your excitement, share what you’re working on. Again, you’re not showing up in your posts or lives to sell and spam, but to add value by empowering, educating or entertaining by being your most authentic self. When you show the good, the bad and the ugly, you become relatable to your followers, and they’ll grow to know, like and trust you, and guess what! That’s when they are going to start reaching out to YOU instead of the other way around, and you always have people in your pipeline and conversations going. That’s where you’ll find your next client or team member! Make sure you include a strong CTA (call to action) at the end of your lives and posts so people know where to find you and how to reach out to you. 3. Collaborations are key! I love connecting with femalepreneurs and seeing how we can put each other forward. That could look like a joint offline event, an online live or podcast interview, a public speaking engagement, speaking in a FB group, speaking at a retreat, or trading referrals. And if you offer a product, why not reach out to service-based businesses to see if they would be open to adding a product line to add value to their client base while generating another stream of income for themselves? If you offer a service-based business, why not connect with a business woman who offers a product line? If you run one without the other, you could be leaving heaps of money on the table!

More than anything, be kind to yourself. Keep learning as much as you can as fast as you can, execute and test and try out the strategies until you find what resonates and works best for you. There isn’t just one way to build a business, and these things can take some time, often 3-5 years or more to get where you want to be. So be in it for the long game, have fun, and remember when you combine the law of attraction with the law of action, that’s when the magic happens!
