Hello gorgeous soul! Welcome to my blog that’s all about Strategy + Soul! You’re here because you’re an ambitious woman who is on a mission to change your life and take control of your financial future. But you may be feeling stuck or a bit lost, looking for the next steps to take that most resonate with your soul. You know there’s a better way, and you’re on the path to find out how and where to get started building or scaling your online empire.

That’s where I come in as your guide, teaching you strategies that work, and helping you to keep that vibe high so you can show up in your business every day shining your light on the world and enjoying the riches that will come as a result of just being yourself!

So let’s do this, Week 2 of the 12 Universal Laws, the Law of Vibration, how and why you will want to apply it to building your business by divine.

A high vibration is simply being present: your energy level is aligned with whatever you are doing in the present moment. Whether that means playing a game with your child or planning out your content for the week, your thoughts and feelings are resonating with what you’re doing and your energy level is literally vibrating at a high frequency of love, joy, excitement, happiness, gratitude, and abundance; as opposed to a low vibe or low energy of anxiety, depression, worry, frustration, or lack.

My spiritual journey was born out of a place of lack and worry and disgust with the financial crisis we’d found ourselves in. The little things I’d always taken for granted like yoga classes, manis and pedis, coffee out with girlfriends, had disappeared, and when it became difficult to buy groceries, my world collapsed. I was so frustrated, wanting my old life back and fast. The anxiety and depression grew so bad, I couldn’t catch my breath and had to rush to the hospital for an EKG, thinking I was having a heart attack. It was actually a panic attack and the doctor put me on a prescription for high level anxiety. It may sound dramatic, but anxiety is a thing. Can you relate?

At that point, I couldn’t figure out how to sustain, much less scale to the next level and help my team to do the same. How could I lead a team if I was struggling so hard myself? But being the hungriest person I know with a lot to prove, giving up was never an option.

Something had to change: I had to get out of my own mind and out of my own way. I realized I needed to really go to work on myself, harder than anything else. And sure enough, when the student is ready, the teacher appears. About that same time, I stumbled upon Abraham Hicks and learned about the power of meditation. I listened to podcasts and started checking out books from the library or ordering them online about spirituality and the Universe, and the Law of Attraction. I cleaned up my newsfeed so that it only read positivity. I turned off the TV and stopped watching the news and murder mysteries at night before bed. I got around a tribe of powerful, successful femalepreneurs that lift each other up. And guess what happened? Kicked the anxiety medication to the curb.

And then it occurred to me that there are hundreds or thousands or even millions of women who are in a similar situation to the one I was in: fed up, knowing there is a better way, tired of asking permission, wanting to take charge and have something for themselves. They’re eager to go back to work and do something about their situation, but want something on their own terms with flexibility to have time and financial freedom, and the flexibility to do and have and be all the things that set their souls on fire.

That’s when I realized how important it was to share all that I was learning, to be vulnerable and real and raw and authentic that this is a journey and we must enjoy who we are becoming, not just hustling and grinding and being happy once we have “arrived.” For we never arrive, my friends, we must always continue to evolve.

It’s easy to acknowledge when you need to get out of your own head: the monkey brain gets going and you’re allowing the voices in your head to bring you to a low place, questioning if you’re on the right path, looking for a sign or validation or movement in your bank account, but nothing is happening and so you get even more anxious and down and depressed and then stagnate, waiting for that something to come to you if it’s actually meant to be. Sound familiar?

But that’s not how things work.

In order to attract all that you want, you have to meet your desires at the same frequency. Like attracts like, right? So if you’re coming from a place of lack, guess what your’e going to attract more of? Yep. Lack. But if you’re coming from gratitude for all that you have and how far you’ve come, with excitement for all the good that is to come, that’s where the magic lies.

So how long does it take to snap out of it and get into that positive space? Seconds. Look around you. What and who are you most grateful for? That you have a roof over your head, running water, the power is on, your insurance is covered, you have food to eat and a table to eat it on? That you can see? That you woke up this morning and were able to put your feet on the ground? That you had coffee to fill your mug?

When I stopped taking the little things for granted, waking up in gratitude, that’s when the shift started to happen. Now every morning my seven year old daughter and I say the five people we are most grateful for and send them each a prayer of happiness. We say one accomplishment from yesterday that we are proud of; one thing we like about the way we look; one thing we are looking forward to; and set our intention for the day.

Gratitude sets the tone for the day. Buy a beautiful journal and write down your gratitudes each morning. Have a vision board in your personal space or on your phone that you look at every day. Being grateful for all you have while working towards all you want should be the definition of your success, and you won’t be able to help living each and every day in that high vibration. Let go of the outcome, surrender to what is, and know that you are always, always on the right path and that your success is inevitable.
