Business by Divine

by Sarah Rose

Hello gorgeous soul, welcome to my blog Business by Divine!

You’re here because you’re an ambitious woman looking to start or scale your dream business, but something has been holding you back, or you don’t yet have the vehicle that will take you from here to where you want to be. This is where I come in as your guide, teaching a blend of mindset and business strategy that will help you transform your life in record time. I’m on a mission to empower as many women to create their own online empire that will allow them to earn what they’re worth and design a life they love. So yes, you are in the right place, and I’ve got your back!

We are currently exploring the 12 Universal Laws and how they apply to building a business, and this week is all about the Law of Relativity which in my interpretation means to stay in your own lane.

Thoughts are things, they create our beliefs, which cause our emotions. So when we find ourselves in comparasonitis, we need to check in with ourselves and find out why we are vibing at that low frequency, coming from a place of lack or jealousy, and pull back, reach for a better feeling.

Be happy for that woman who has it all, her dream career, living life on her own terms, traveling the world first class wearing the clothes to match. It’s easy to think “I could never be like her, I could never do those things. I could never have her life.” Hey let that stinking thinking go, you don’t know what she suffered, what she had to sacrifice, what she had to let go of or lose to achieve what she’s achieved.

The road to success is not paved with good intentions. You’ve got to burn all bridges behind you, leaving yourself no possible way of retreat. For the path is a windy and twisty one with many switchbacks and signposts that in hindsight you could have missed. It can be rocky and craggy and often quite lonely. There will be times when you want to scream (and you will) and feel like throwing your laptop at the wall (not the best idea, please don’t). You’ll question yourself, you’ll have shiny object syndrome. You’ll think about quitting, you’ll take adversity as a sign that you’re not on the right path and think about your other options. You’ll overthink things. You’ll obsess and stay up sleepless nights. You’ll ugly cry, you will.

So why even bother becoming a femalepreneur if it’s going to be that much work?

Because the rewards on the other side are so flipping worth it. You get the time freedom to wake up without an alarm if you choose, or set it early so you can get on with your DMO (Daily Method of Operation). You’ll have the time freedom to take your kids to school and be there to pick them up, to spend the afternoons together making precious memories. To take them on vacations around the world without having to ask for time off. You’ll have created the financial freedom to live life on your own terms, with options, flexibility to do what you want when you want.

It’s not going to happen overnight. It might take you 3-5 years or longer to build where you want to be. It could take less. But once you have that first taste of freedom, you won’t be able to imagine any other way.

Just make sure you stay in your own lane along the way. This is your journey, it will unfold just as it should. Yes, success loves speed, but your speed may be someone else’s tortoise and someone else’s Monaco Grand Prix. Your success is always going to be relative to someone else’s, so just do you. Be the best version of yourself as you can. Take care of yourself every damn day, not just on the weekends. Go on and act as if you’re already living her life. Go on and grow into the woman you need to be so you can do the things she does and have the things she has. Show up consistently in your business every single day in spite of what life is throwing at you, how you feel, or what you believe to be your current reality. And keep showing up until. Until you’ve overcome your fear, until you’ve hit rock bottom and picked yourself up one last time, until you’ve regained your confidence, until you can be happy for those who have achieved success and mean it. Until you’ve been handed the lessons over and over and over again and finally learned from them.

Make a conscious effort to be grateful for what you already do have. Wake up in gratitude every morning and fall asleep in gratitude every night. Have a gratitude check-in all throughout the day. Recognize the negative emotions when they come, and tap into your higher power to come back to who you are and what you stand for, and what you need to be doing to grow.

The great Jim Rohn defined success as being grateful for all you’ve got while working towards all you want. And when you stop comparing yourself to anyone else, you’ll love your life and you won’t be able to stop yourself because you’ll know you’re on the right path and that your success is inevitable.

The Law of Correspondence

Business by Divine

by Sarah Rose

Welcome beautiful friend, I am so excited that you’ve stumbled upon my blog post today. It’s no accident that you’re here, because you’re a woman on a mission to change your life by helping others to change theirs. You know there’s something more out there for yourself and your family, but you haven’t yet found “it.” You dream of living this other life, but you aren’t sure where or how to begin. That’s where I come in as your guide.

I’m Sarah Rose, and I’m on a mission to help as many ambitious women as possible earn what they’re worth and create a life they love, combining strategy and soul to help you create your own online business by divine. This week, we are exploring the Law of Correspondence and how it relates to business as well as to life.

The Law of Correspondence says as within, so without. This means that the world around you is a current reflection of what’s going on inside of you. If you’re in a place of lack, you will attract more lack. If you’re sad, anxious, depressed, angry, or resentful, you will attract more of the same. And I get it girlfriend, I lived in that space for YEARS. I’m not saying it’s easy, to just go flip the switch and start thinking positively, but I am suggesting that you reach for a better feeling. Maybe the better feeling is frustration.

Frustration is a powerful emotion and was the driving force to my making a change in my life four years ago when we hit a financial crisis and I had to go back to work from being a stay at home mom. Looking at the limited options in the realization that a traditional 9-5 wasn’t going to make a dent in our financial situation was gut-wrenching, and I didn’t want to miss any of the precious moments of my daughter’s childhood. Flexibility was key. I knew there was a better way, but I didn’t know if I had what it took to go self made. So I turned my frustration into fascination and went to work learning as much as I could as fast as I could about how I could turn our situation back around, and that’s when I found my calling. Helping other women in a similar situation to show them there is a way out, there is another way. Life does not have to be so hard.

It’s difficult to see that though, when you’re standing in the fire. As we lost everything, our house, one of our cars, many of our possessions, and our livelihood, I was full of resentment of our situation. I blamed everyone, not taking any responsibility myself. I was tired, pissed off, mumbling under my breath, screaming in my head “WHY ME?,” and a tearful hot mess that felt out of control, full of fear, anxiety, and worry. Blind to all of the blessings that were all around me. Until one day I woke up and decided I had just had enough of feeling like that. That angry woman was not who I am. I am happy, silly, playful, joyful, wealthy beyond measure, a giver, a friend, a lover, spiritual, with childlike curiosity and gratitude to the Universe. And I wanted that girl back. Can you relate?

It takes time and patience and self love, going to work harder on yourself than anything else. It started by weeding out my Facebook feed, unfollowing or unfriending anyone who posted negativity or about politics. It took backing off or out of relationships that were no longer serving me, and getting around happy, positive, driven people who would give me the kick in the pants I needed, rather than allowing me to wallow in my sorrow. Misery loves company, so if you’re feeling miserable and you’re surrounded by others who bitch and complain all the time too, it’s time to make a move my friend! Otherwise, you’re looking at a never-ending black hole of more of the same.

I devoured (and still do) books and podcasts that would help me with my mindset, and that’s when I found Abraham Hicks and learned how to meditate. I remembered to practice gratitude daily and set intentions for each day of what I wanted to accomplish.

It’s not easy to make a change, but it is necessary. Personal growth and development is critical to taking yourself from where you are today to where you want to be by this time in six weeks, six months or next year and beyond. Do you want to wake up in the same place a year from now or living the life of your dreams? It’s possible, but it is down to you. If you’re not happy with your current reality, do something about it. You’re not a tree, you can make a move!

Start today to do the inner work, you’re already doing it now by reading this! Make it a part of your daily routine, your DMO (Daily Method of Operation) to listen to that podcast, read that book, take that course, find that mentor. Don’t let another day go by that you don’t look within to start to fix what’s broken.

As you’re doing so, share your journey and what you are learning so that you can be a beacon of light for others in a dark place with no idea of how they can turn their life around. Show them what is possible by owning your emotions, and transforming your life, your self into the gorgeous goddess you already are. We rise by lifting others, and I promise that doing so, your results will come. You have everything within you that you need to be the CEO of your own life, now go do it!

If you are ready to take your life to the next level and you are serious about building a thriving online business that you are obsessed with, you can’t wait to wake up every morning and get to work, and feel that you’re positively vibrating every single day, then don’t wait another minute. I am so excited about what I’m doing that I’ve opened up space to work with just five ambitious women over the next month, and I would love for you to be one of them! Reach out to me at http://m.me/createsuccesswithsarah to book an exploratory 10 minute call to see if working together would be a good fit. You must be coachable, have no excuses, and ready to dive in! Let’s do this, diva! I can’t wait to hear from you!

Applying The Law of Vibration to Your Business

Strategy + Soul by Sarah Rose

Hello gorgeous soul! Welcome to my blog that’s all about Strategy + Soul! You’re here because you’re an ambitious woman who is on a mission to change your life and take control of your financial future. But you may be feeling stuck or a bit lost, looking for the next steps to take that most resonate with your soul. You know there’s a better way, and you’re on the path to find out how and where to get started building or scaling your online empire.

That’s where I come in as your guide, teaching you strategies that work, and helping you to keep that vibe high so you can show up in your business every day shining your light on the world and enjoying the riches that will come as a result of just being yourself!

So let’s do this, Week 2 of the 12 Universal Laws, the Law of Vibration, how and why you will want to apply it to building your business by divine.

A high vibration is simply being present: your energy level is aligned with whatever you are doing in the present moment. Whether that means playing a game with your child or planning out your content for the week, your thoughts and feelings are resonating with what you’re doing and your energy level is literally vibrating at a high frequency of love, joy, excitement, happiness, gratitude, and abundance; as opposed to a low vibe or low energy of anxiety, depression, worry, frustration, or lack.

My spiritual journey was born out of a place of lack and worry and disgust with the financial crisis we’d found ourselves in. The little things I’d always taken for granted like yoga classes, manis and pedis, coffee out with girlfriends, had disappeared, and when it became difficult to buy groceries, my world collapsed. I was so frustrated, wanting my old life back and fast. The anxiety and depression grew so bad, I couldn’t catch my breath and had to rush to the hospital for an EKG, thinking I was having a heart attack. It was actually a panic attack and the doctor put me on a prescription for high level anxiety. It may sound dramatic, but anxiety is a thing. Can you relate?

At that point, I couldn’t figure out how to sustain, much less scale to the next level and help my team to do the same. How could I lead a team if I was struggling so hard myself? But being the hungriest person I know with a lot to prove, giving up was never an option.

Something had to change: I had to get out of my own mind and out of my own way. I realized I needed to really go to work on myself, harder than anything else. And sure enough, when the student is ready, the teacher appears. About that same time, I stumbled upon Abraham Hicks and learned about the power of meditation. I listened to podcasts and started checking out books from the library or ordering them online about spirituality and the Universe, and the Law of Attraction. I cleaned up my newsfeed so that it only read positivity. I turned off the TV and stopped watching the news and murder mysteries at night before bed. I got around a tribe of powerful, successful femalepreneurs that lift each other up. And guess what happened? Kicked the anxiety medication to the curb.

And then it occurred to me that there are hundreds or thousands or even millions of women who are in a similar situation to the one I was in: fed up, knowing there is a better way, tired of asking permission, wanting to take charge and have something for themselves. They’re eager to go back to work and do something about their situation, but want something on their own terms with flexibility to have time and financial freedom, and the flexibility to do and have and be all the things that set their souls on fire.

That’s when I realized how important it was to share all that I was learning, to be vulnerable and real and raw and authentic that this is a journey and we must enjoy who we are becoming, not just hustling and grinding and being happy once we have “arrived.” For we never arrive, my friends, we must always continue to evolve.

It’s easy to acknowledge when you need to get out of your own head: the monkey brain gets going and you’re allowing the voices in your head to bring you to a low place, questioning if you’re on the right path, looking for a sign or validation or movement in your bank account, but nothing is happening and so you get even more anxious and down and depressed and then stagnate, waiting for that something to come to you if it’s actually meant to be. Sound familiar?

But that’s not how things work.

In order to attract all that you want, you have to meet your desires at the same frequency. Like attracts like, right? So if you’re coming from a place of lack, guess what your’e going to attract more of? Yep. Lack. But if you’re coming from gratitude for all that you have and how far you’ve come, with excitement for all the good that is to come, that’s where the magic lies.

So how long does it take to snap out of it and get into that positive space? Seconds. Look around you. What and who are you most grateful for? That you have a roof over your head, running water, the power is on, your insurance is covered, you have food to eat and a table to eat it on? That you can see? That you woke up this morning and were able to put your feet on the ground? That you had coffee to fill your mug?

When I stopped taking the little things for granted, waking up in gratitude, that’s when the shift started to happen. Now every morning my seven year old daughter and I say the five people we are most grateful for and send them each a prayer of happiness. We say one accomplishment from yesterday that we are proud of; one thing we like about the way we look; one thing we are looking forward to; and set our intention for the day.

Gratitude sets the tone for the day. Buy a beautiful journal and write down your gratitudes each morning. Have a vision board in your personal space or on your phone that you look at every day. Being grateful for all you have while working towards all you want should be the definition of your success, and you won’t be able to help living each and every day in that high vibration. Let go of the outcome, surrender to what is, and know that you are always, always on the right path and that your success is inevitable.

Become a WOW Woman

Hello beautiful friends! Today we are exploring the fifth of the seven core principles for getting to the top in your own business: becoming a WOW woman. As you begin to master these seven principles, you’ll know you are on the right path and that your success is inevitable. You can download the ebook herehttps://sarahroseglobal.lpages.co/freebie, but make sure to read through today’s blog post where we delve deeper in an interview with our fabulous guest Jasmine Jones of Beauty and the Network.

How did you decide to Go Self Made and start your own beauty business?
The entrepreneurial bug bit me at a very early age. I can remember back to the time when I was in middle school using my Halloween candy as inventory to sell to other kids at the play ground; up until the time when I was in high school starting my own Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day baskets to sell to family members, church members and anyone that I could come in contact with. After I graduated from cosmetology school, I knew that I wanted to be in charge of my own hours, how much income I was going to make, and the prices that I charged. I decided to step out and give it a chance at age 19! In today’s world I believe EVERYONE needs to find at least 1-2 ways that they can generate and bring in their own income whether that be a company they join with or something they start on their own.

How did you grow your business so big so fast that you had to hire a team?
My mindset shifted when I realized the only way for my company to grow was to hire on additional talent. I was a one-woman show and I was having to turn down bookings left and right because I was already booked personally. I knew that if I wanted to expand that meant getting more girls so I could duplicate what I was already doing. It was a slow process because I needed everyone to mesh together; I’m not a fan of big egos.

The faster way that I grew my business though was through collaborations and networking. Getting in front of people so they could see our team’s work. I found a reason to start a conversation with anyone I felt would be an amazing resource to refer to our future clients. I made so many great connections and they started recommending me left and right. I knew that I needed to grow before I was ready so that when the bookings started coming in I would be fully staffed to handle the load. I used to wait until the perfect moment to put a plan into action but I realized very quickly that if I started to operate from a view point that things were already booming that I would set myself up for success other than waiting until the load got crazy then trying to scramble to make things work. I’m a firm believer that the universe will never give you an opportunity that you are not prepared for..so the sooner you get ready the better!

What made you decide to scale your service-based business into the online space?

This is such a great question! After growing my business and my team I started having additional free time because I didn’t have to take on all the bookings myself anymore, I was able to start booking my girls on gigs while I stayed home and worked on the business side. My business had reached a milestone and I wanted to achieve more growth, so I started looking into some of the goals that I’d written for myself and got back into some of the things that really lit me up and that I was also teaching. Last year I took the time to attend a cosmetology instructors course and for six weeks that was my happy place. I wanted to do more teaching but I’m not a fan of being in one spot for too long so I though about teaching different subjects online. This way I could still teach even while on vacation or while traveling on the road. And then it hit me that I only had one source of income, and in order for me to make money either my team or myself would have to leave home in order to get paid. That was not cutting it for me.

I was ready to start thinking outside of the box, but I knew that first I needed to get clear on my goals. After a tarot card reading session, mediation, and taking some time for myself, the answer hit me. I decided to go out on a limb and start another business as an online educator for creatives and beauty pros, teaching them how they can level up their mindset while growing their business. Sharing knowledge is something that I love to do because before I got to the point of where I am in business now, I was struggling trying to figure things out on my own. I didn’t want to invest in myself and I was scared that the money I would invest in online course, coaches and mentors wouldn’t pay off. But after I took the chance and hired a mindset and business coach, the world looked completely different. And that was the same moment that my business took off.

I want to provide people with clarity, confidence, and to let them know that they will never be given the “perfect moment and perfect situation” to start, they just have to go with a gut feeling, faith and confidence that they can do whatever they put their minds to.

What do you love most about working in the world of social media marketing?

I  have the ability to reach as many people as I want to. You can do as many or as few platforms as you want. As long as you have a set strategy, your time on social media can help you bring in more clients and more profit to your business regardless of the field you work in.

If you had one tip for an ambitious woman  looking to start a home-based business marketing online, what would it be?

My tip would be go for it! You will never know what could have been if you are too scared to make a decision to go for it. Stop waiting for the perfect time or more money because if you are not taking a chance today to make tomorrow look different you will always have the same struggles you have today. Try it out and give 100% effort and don’t be afraid to ask for help or guidance when you need it.
